H. Alexander Leder, M.D.
H. Alexander Leder, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in retinal diseases & surgery and uveitis.
Dr. Leder graduated from Yale University before earning his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Louisiana Eye Center.
Dr. Leder has completed post-doctoral fellowships in Ocular Immunology & Uveitis as well as Vitreoretinal Surgery from the renowned Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University as well as a post-doctoral fellowship in Medical Retina and Research from Duke University.
In addition to nearly 20 years of treating patients, Dr. Leder has also taught at Johns Hopkins University and the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Leder will see patients in OptiCare’s Waterbury office.
